We are no longer building new stores on this platform. Rather, we have moved on to ProductCart 3.5 as a superior shopping cart platform.
We will continue to support our BV 2004 sites but will only take minor customization requests.
While we have found BV Commerce 2004 to be very powerful, we eventually found its core architecture to be too rigid for ease of customizations over the lifetime of the application for most clients.

When I first started BarParts.com in 1998 I used a shopping cart
called Storefront 5. It
was OK for its time, but had some problems - actually a lot of
problems.
By chance, I heard about Sean Connors of Web Merchant Services in
2001, who I was told could help me with the cart. That turned out to
be the understatement of the year!
Over the years, Sean has
developed special
modules and scripts for me that enhanced my website. But the
most important development occurred this year when I switched to
Able Commerce 7
shopping cart. I didn't know, nor understand asp.net but Sean does. With Sean's help, I now have a website
powered by AbleCommerce 7 that is functional, reliable and fast.
