Batch Process Images

Save time resizing and uploading your product images. Let this handy add-on do most all of the work for you -- in batches!

This ProductCart add-on  enables you to batch upload hundreds of products at a time -- dynamically regenerating your detail, general and thumbnail images at the push of a button while simultaneously updating your database in one simple process.

All you have to do is name the largest version of your product image by the product SKU, then FTP them all up to a temporary repository, and then click a button to initiate the magic. Additional product views are also supported.

Not only is this a big time saver, but over time you will find that enforcing a naming convention of naming product images by their SKU will save you time managing your legacy image files.

What's more, when you delete a product from your online catalog, this tool will also delete the images assigned to the product helping you manage your product imagery more efficiently over time and mitigating against unwanted hosting overages as "junk" images otherwise pile up on your hosting account over time. This is a big benefit for stores running thousands of products with a catalog that changes over time.

Finally, this add-on also includes options to stroke your images with a black or a white border and to copyright your images with either text (servers running ASPImage) or a watermark logo (servers running ASPJpeg).

Supported Versions

This Add-on supports both the standard and Apparel add-on builds as well as BTO version of ProductCart 3.51-4.5

Other system requirements are standard ProductCart system requirements for uploading files and managing images.

We strive to make our mods and add-ons as simple to install as possible. Only the most cursory understanding of ASP is typically required. Any semi-experienced ASP developer should be able to install the vast majority of our mods or add-ons in less than 5-15 minutes (depending on whether a database upgrade is involved -- and that simply requires a ninute to log into the store's Control Panel and push the upgrade button).

You might also want to revert to your backups and try your installation again paying closer attention to what you are copying and pasting.

If you indeed find an issue with our code, we will of course remedy the issue free of charge, provided the issue falls under the functionality of the mod or add-on as we've described it.
