HTML Emails add-on for ProductCart

You've spent a good deal of time, energy and money making your site look great.

Now how about making your email communications look great too?

You can now look just as good in your email communications as you do on your web site!

With this add-on, you can HTML format every email your ProductCart store sends out, while richly formating the following core emails:

Promote your brand -- including your logo, social media icons, core navigations links -- whatever you like -- to enhance your brand recognition and online presence through your email communications.

Templates are provided for each of the above core email communications, including a wide variety of replacement variables you can use to insert live data exactly where you want it to show on your template. All other emails sent out by your ProductCart store will use the normal "simple text" content generated, though you will be able to style some of the look of that content (font elements, backgrounds, borders, ect.)

What's more, you can either edit these templates through your store control panel or directly through you favorite editor.

This add-on is built intelligently and lightly upon existing ProductCart functionality. It is smart enough, for example, to know if you might be sending out an email through ProductCart's Newsletter Wizard or maybe a 3rd party add-on that is itself already set up to deliver HTML formatted emails. It's light enough that it's easy to install and maintain agaist future ProdcutCart service packs & version upgrades. It will dynamically detect HTML links in the simple text emails ProductCart sends out (e.g. "forgot password"). It can also be turned on/off at two levels (in the event of any problem):

Finally, the control panel tools also provide the option for you to send test emails with your HTML formatting so you can make sure you have everything looking good before you activate either the wrapper or the more advanced templated emails.

Supported Versions

This add-on has been thoroughly tested against Standard + Apparel add-on stores versions 4.1 or better. It should probably be equally viable on version 4.0 as well. BTO versions have not been tested yet. Earlier versions are not supported.

We strive to make our mods and add-ons as simple to install as possible. Only the most cursory understanding of ASP is typically required. Any semi-experienced ASP developer should be able to install the vast majority of our mods or add-ons in less than 5-15 minutes (depending on whether a database upgrade is involved -- and that simply requires a ninute to log into the store's Control Panel and push the upgrade button).

You might also want to revert to your backups and try your installation again paying closer attention to what you are copying and pasting.

If you indeed find an issue with our code, we will of course remedy the issue free of charge, provided the issue falls under the functionality of the mod or add-on as we've described it.
