Anonymous Checkout mod (PC 3.5 only)
ProductCart's default logic allows a customer to check out without creating an account, but only the first time.
This mod enables customers to check out anonymously indefinitely. What's more, it provides for changing an anonymous customer account into an active customer account, complete with the prior order history.
Show Price on Quantity Discount Grid mod
This modification for ProductCart revises the display of quantity discount grids to show the actual price of a product at each threshold rather than the savings.
Show Lowest Price mod
This modification for ProductCart revises the display of the price of a product that has been assigned quantity-based discounts so that the price shown is the lowest available price based on the highest quantity threshold assigned.
Manage Meta Tags add-on

HTML Formatted Emails add-on
This add-on has already been released to a select set of clients for beta testing and will be available for general release soon.
Provide the professional look your company needs by closely controlling how your store's automatically generated emails look when your customers receive them.
The only emails that ProductCart enables you to format in HTML are emails sent out through their Newsletter Wizard. All of the other emails PC sends out such as account registration confirmations and order confirmations, etc. are all formatted in simple text.
This add-on enables you to tightly control the layout, look and branding of every email your ProductCart shopping cart shoots out to your customers.
Dynamic Dropdown Mini Cart add-on
This ad-on is done and just waiting for packaging and release.
Product Cart's default "Small Shopping Cart" is a nice feature that every shopping cart should at least take advantage of. However, more contemporary shopping online stores are using a more advanced "mini cart" display -- stores like Gap.com for example -- which show just what the customer added to cart along with what is currently in their cart, complete with subtotal and possible up-sell messages
Store Navigation Manager add-on
For ProductCart v4+ only
This ad-on is done and just waiting for packaging and release.
Deploy your shopping cart site quicker and have complete on-going control over your store navigation with the Store Navigation Manager!
Product Cart version 4 introduced a three column default layout, where category navigation and "Useful Links" go in the 1st column, main contents go in the second column, and other options can be put in the 3rd column such as "Browse by Price", "Recently Viewed", "Top Sellers", etc.
What's more, they introduced Dreamweaver's "SPRY" navigation in addition to their prior navigation tree (with the +/- options to expand or contract category navigation).
Contemporary design standards call for a simple unordered list for the markup and CSS of everything from the look of the navigation to effects like fly-out menu navigation.
This add-on gives merchants the option to control all of the content on column one and column two of their site, all directly through the control panel.
Using the control panel interface, merchant can select form any of the following options to generate their navigation and other content for columns one and two:
- Browse by Brand (CSS Menu)
- Browse by Category (CSS Menu)
- Browse by Category (Navigation Tree)
- Browse by Price
- Content Page Section (CSS Menu)
- HTML Content
(this could be used for all manner of content such as certification seals, add banners, etc.) - Recently Viewed
- Small Search Box
- Small Shopping Cart
We'll be adding Best Sellers, New arrivals and Specials soon.
What's more, this add-on enables you to break out content pages into different sections while while defining a header for each section AND enables you to create "Content Pages" as links to other pages or URLs.
For example, say you want a "Customer Service" section. You can define that as a header and chose what content pages go under that header. But say you want to have a link to contact.asp show in that list of "content pages? This add-on will enable you to do that and handle many similar scenarios.
This add-on uses the same concept as all other ProductCart dynamically generated menus in that it requires a "Generate Navigation " prompt in the control panel, and then all navigation is stored as static content while customers are shopping your site.
"Free Shipping" Alert add-on
This add-on has been released on select stores but is not done yet.
Offering free shipping at a certain subtotal is a very common marketing approach to encouraging up-sells on an order -- say "FREE Shipping on orders over $100.00!". However, ProductCart doesn't offer any message alert to let customers know how close they may be to getting free shipping with their order.
This add-on will alert customers on the cart summary page, right before they proceed to checkout how close they are to getting free shipping and will automatically show a grid of products that are priced just enough to kick them over the free shipping threshold with a link to a search for all products that are within the minimum amount needed plus $X.00 (where that variable is configured in the control panel).
This is an excellent way to help up-sell your carts.
Automatic Follow-Up on Abandoned Carts add-on
This add-on is still under development.
Abandoned carts are an online merchant's worst night mare -- after finally getting a customer to your site, getting them interested in your products and adding to their shopping cart and getting them to begin checking out . . . the sale was lost!
There are many reasons for abandoned carts, many of which are unintentional; for example, shoppers get interrupted by the phone or children, they could have lost their internet connection, or perhaps have a sudden pang of "buyers remorse" just as they are about to commit.
Worse yet, errors can happen in the checkout procedure.
Merchants that follow up on abandoned carts definitely do save sales. This add-on will virtually automate saving these lost sales.
"Compulsive Buy Rack" add-on
We're still working on a better name for this one, but the idea is to enable merchants to create a "compulsive buy rack" such as one sees in grocery stores, etc. to u-sell customers based upon criteria a merchant selects such as "clearance items", products below a certain price pint, best sellers, etc.
