Manage Meta Tags add-on for ProductCart

This add-on for ProductCart 3.51 - 4.1 adds new functionality to allow you greater control over how your meta tags are dynamically generated on product and category pages. Improve your search engine rankings and increase sales by having more control over your page optimization.

By default, ProductCart does not give you any real control over the dynamic generation of your Title, Description and Keywords meta tags for your product and category pages. It will generate these tags for you "on the fly" if you haven't explicitly populated them for each product and category/subcategory through the control panel; however, you have no other control over them in the control panel.

This add-on gives you control over how these meta tags are generated when you haven't explicitly overridden them. It also provides a convenient interface for setting the default Title, Description, and Keywords meta tags on all other non-product/category ProductCart pages (which are otherwise hard coded in).

If you have a very large catalog of products and simply don't have time to manually manage the meta tags for every product and category/subcategory on your online store, this is a "must have" SEO add-on for your store!

This add-on will work with sites with or without the ProductCart SEO mod installed. It is compatible with version 3.51 - 4.1. It does not affect anything specifically related to the BTO version or a site running the Apparel add-on.

We strive to make our mods and add-ons as simple to install as possible. Only the most cursory understanding of ASP is typically required. Any semi-experienced ASP developer should be able to install the vast majority of our mods or add-ons in less than 5-15 minutes (depending on whether a database upgrade is involved -- and that simply requires a ninute to log into the store's Control Panel and push the upgrade button).

You might also want to revert to your backups and try your installation again paying closer attention to what you are copying and pasting.

If you indeed find an issue with our code, we will of course remedy the issue free of charge, provided the issue falls under the functionality of the mod or add-on as we've described it.
