Our customized plan for iChapter websites

Websites using the iChapter Network have special needs that do not fit within our standard hosting plans.

For example, iChapter sites utilize Web Services, so they do not need to host their own database of any sort. On the other hand, to do this, they need to utilize ASP.NET in a native environment.

Because of these criteria, iChapter Network sites don't quite fit our standard hosting plan grid.

Similarly, iChapter Network sites require shared SSL in order to process reservations by credit card; this is usually a feature of more advanced plans.

What's more, iChapter sites typically need more email accounts than we allot for plans at the discounted "Business Economy Plan" level, so we offer unlimited email accounts and aliases for iChapter Network websites.

Finally, with the iChapter hosting plan, we will also support LISTSERV's by request.

In general, out hosting plan for iChapter Network websites is the same as our Business Economy plan, with the following exceptions:

¹Disk Space includes all site files, all email storage on our servers, and all raw statistics log files ( automatically deleted each day after they have been digested by our Statistics server )

²Bandwidth includes file outbound transfers, inbound files transfers ( uploading activity ) as well as both outgoing and incoming email transfers.

³301 Redirects are a "permanent redirect" to another URL -- for example, your core domain name might be www.MyDomain.com and your 301 redirect might be www.EasierToRember.com. With the 301 Redirect, the latter will actually resolve as the former so that you don't multiple versions of the same site content and get yourself into trouble with search engines. Google, for example explicitly forbids duplicate content under different domain names and URLs.

⁴302 Redirects simply refer one URL to the content housed under another URL. For example, your core domain name might be www.MyDomain.com and your 301 redirect might be www.EasierToRember.com. With the 302 Redirect, the latter will resolve as is, BUT! you will now have created multiple versions of the same site content and get yourself into trouble with search engines. Google, for example explicitly forbids duplicate content under different domain names and URLs.
